Meet Idelle Davidson

Idelle Davidson is an award-winning journalist and author specializing in health, medicine and personality profiles. She is the co-author (with Dan Silverman, MD, Ph.D at UCLA) of Your Brain After Chemo: A Practical Guide to Lifting the Fog and Getting Back Your Focus (Da Capo Press, 2009).

Her cover story in the Los Angeles Times Magazine featuring Craig Newmark, founder of Craigslist (“The Shy Savant”) received the American Society of Journalists and Authors 2005 outstanding article of the year award for best profile.

In addition to writing for the Los Angeles Times (including a second cover story in the Sunday magazine profiling the top dealmaker at DreamWorks), her work has appeared in Time, Parents, Parenting, Los Angeles, First for Women, UCLA Magazine, New Jersey Monthly, Discoveries and Catalyst (publications of Cedars-Sinai Medical Center), The Scotsman, InTouch (a cancer prevention and treatment magazine), Community Oncology, California Lawyer, Los Angeles Lawyer, and other publications.

She has written two health segments for the Discovery Health TV Network and she is a former director of publications for the American Heart Association.
